Radius provides a key link in improving Quinhon network for distribution of power

The project entailed a small scale automation scheme to cover the central part of Vietnam, this was to automate local electrical networks when weather conditions made manual operations at air break sites hazardous.

Power company No 3 is a state-owned company that is responsible for the transmission and distribution of electricity in the central area of Vietnam.

Quinhon distribution network project - phase 1 had been upgraded under Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA) funded through Specific Agreement 1991 - 1993.

Customer Demand
Customers demand increasingly higher quality of power distribution to cope with the rapid development of the information society. In order to improve the reliability of power supply, Hokuriku Electric Power Company is expanding the application of the automatic control system for distribution network operations as well as conducting precautionary measures against possible forced outages.
