IP Wireless Data Radio

The PDR wireless data radio modems are used in applications through out the world, from oil and gas platforms in the Middle East to High Voltage Switchgear applications above the Artic Circle.

Allowing a dual usage port system on the PDR means that a user can mix older serial equipment in their infrastructure with newer IP enabled devices. And then in the future easily migrate their system to full or partial IP working.

TCP, UDP and SNMP data messages can now be routed through a Radius PDR 121 data radio network to arrive at the slave site. Software will also allow the IP data message to be presented to the slave device either across the RS232 serial port or via the Ethernet Port.

The PDR 121 has a unique message handling system that allows any data message to be routed via other PDR 121 devices in order to vastly increase the range of a system without any additional costs.
