The system will remotely montior and control equipment across a large geographic area with in the main city of Belgrade and to the outlying rural communities. The project will encompass controlling pole mounted auto reclosers and switches an the overhead network and ring main/pad mounted units for the underground networks.

Radius has already supplied distribution automation and smart grid solutions to a number of other leading Serbian utilities in recent years and it is on the back of the success of these that the Ministry has now decided to invest in the networks in and around the capital city, Belgrade.
