Radius’ have been awarded the tender for partial electrical distribution automation of Gotheberg’s light rail network/ tram with a remit to cover major parts of the transport network, later on. The tender was award for the use of the NME 100 motor actuator with a 600V DC main’s feed power supply. Therefore removing the need for the tram operator to provide additional power conversion for the overhead power lines.

The actuators can simply be connected to the overhead line, and in return can help monitor the line voltage, provide the actuator with the a constant charge to it’s batteries and power the cabinets climate control system.
