Easy Local Maneuvering with the T20-panel
To experience the benefits of the local control achieved by the T20 panel and Radius flexible communication solution you can order a retrofit to boost your current overhead switchgear. The T20 control panel and the radio can be built-in in the existing cabinet. The T20 panel offers an easy maneuvering with big push buttons, LED’s indicating the status and also supports a number of alarms. For additional safety the unit also has a hit and run function, where the operator can move to a safe distance from the device before the actual switch operates.
 
Flexible Communication Solution
The Radius radio gives the possibility to choose among a number of communication alternatives; Radius RNO Data Radio, Radius PDR Data Radio, Tetra, fiber or cellular.

Battery Solution
The unit can be provided with a rechargeable battery solution to ensure continued operational performance beyond the loss of supplied voltage. Battery performance and battery life are very critical elements to the long-term effectiveness of any remote device.  To that end, Radius has designed a sophisticated solution to maximize battery life. The battery charging is temperature compensated to ensure battery health and a calibrated load further tests the batteries at configurable time intervals to ensure that their health has been maintained. Apart from ensuring that the correct temperature and charging currents are maintained, the other way to extend battery life is to prevent discharging them beyond their minimum charge level. By measuring the battery capacity at regular intervals and subsequently disconnecting the batteries from the circuit, prior to this minimum level being reached this is beeing prevented. The host system can be kept informed of battery status via a number of remote status alarms, which are also displayed on the T20-panel.
