NME 200 Manual Maneuver

Manual Maneuver

The film begins with a side view of the NME 200 actuator (which shows partially the rotary movement of the actuator) where the manual maneuver handle is being inserted into is purpose built maneuver holder.

The film then changes to the opposite angle to show the handle being fully inserted into its designated potions. (Note it also shows how the circular clutch is disconnected from the motor, therefore preventing local or remote maneuvers from occurring).

The angle then reverts back to the original position to show how easy the manual operation is. The operator easily moves the handle downwards to the open position. The handle is then locked into position with the designated locking pin. The pin is then further secured by a U-bend lock.

The film, then goes to a close-up of the circular exposed clutch at the back on the NME 200 to show how after the manual maneuver, the clutch is left disconnected from the motor. (this is another safety feature to make sure the local operator is not injured via another operator)

If you look closely at the circular clutch you see this moving, the local operator is manually moving the clutch back into place by turning a special key next to the motor inside the cabinet. Once completed you can see how the clutch moved back into place.
