Data Communication
Radius telemetry, data acquisition and digital data radio products are used throughout the world in a wide variety of applications. From large scale wide area radio networks with many thousands of remote control locations to simple point to point applications. Radius data communication equipment is fully scalable, reliable and use to use, set up and maintain.
Telemetry
Providing a secure data communication link via the Radius data radio modems is only one part of the story. Collecting the analogue and digital data from the remote sites and presenting them to the central system is also key to a succesful remote control telemetry system. Radius provides a range of I/O mouldes and RTU's (Remote Terminal Units) for industrial and utility applications. The modules and RTU's support a range of standard protocols, including Modbus, DNP and IEC870.
Data Radio
Radius digital data radios are feature rich, professional data radios designed for demanding and extreme environments. Designed to handle standard industrial protocols from Modbus to IEC870 the data radios also offer wide area coverage due to the unique message routing function. Data security is paramount with all data radios being supplied with encryption as an option. High signal recovery and forward error correction means greater communication distances whilst maintaining system performance and each data radio has the advantage of being supported by web based remote diagnostic software allowing remote configuration and monitoring of the entire radio network performance
