Radius Announce Official Launch of Highly Acclaimed RTU

FastNet is a compact RTU used in utility and industrial applications. Principally for distribution automation in the secondary electricity network, its design allows it to be used as a data concentrator and/or SCADA RTU, providing a highly reliable and feature rich interface between remote equipment and a users central control system.

FastNet also includes many features such as chatter control, pulse counters, deadbanding, port forwarding, mains present indication, simultatious DNP polling & RBE (Report By Exception), analogue average values to name a few.

Connection Options
The FastNet comes with one ethernet port and an RJ expansion port, one RS485, five RS232 ports, Port forwarding is available on all communication ports, and each port can be mapped to various functions.

Protocols – Radius’ RTU uses many standard protocols found in Utility and Industrial Automation; including DNP3, IEC870-5-101 & 104 with slave and master configurations for ModBus.

Multiple Communication Port – Allowing options for various communication connections and ancillary connections including port forwarding.
