In high voltage and electrical distribution equipment, it is very important that transformers, intended for both measurement and power supplying applications, are of the highest possible quality.

Radius transformers are designed and proved to IEC 186 standards and developed and controlled in a quality assured organisation.

Batteries & Battery Monitoring Units
Battery performance and battery life are very critical elements to the long-term effectiveness oany mote device. To that end, Radius has designed sophisticated solutions to maximize battery life.

Protection & Monitoring
The rechargeable lead battery has a battery-monitoring unit, a BMU10, to keep them at the best possible health. A deep discharge protection ensures operation as well as the protection against short circuits and reverse polarity. The unit indicated alarms such as mains lost, low battery and charger fail.

UPS
Radius Ups consists of a battery, charger and a BMU-unit, ensuring a safe battery back-up to any remote device. The unit is always charged and on stand-by, ready to kick in if the normal power supply drops. The unit indicates a number of alarm; mains lost, charger fail and low battery alarm.
