The demonstration begins with opening the cabinet and T20 panel to provide access to the manual maneuver lever and motor. The first action is to remove the actuator key and handle from there mountings.
The scene then cuts to a close up where the operator removes the manual maneuver cover from the actuator. Then the actuator key and handle are placed together. The handle is then inserted through the cabinet and placed into the actuator.
The operator then starts to turn the handle to open the actuator. (you’ll see the key turning in the actuator). The next scene pans out to show when manually turning the actuator, the actuator arm starts to rise which will turn open the switch seen several seconds later in the demonstration.
The final scene show’s how to lock the NME 100 to make sure that a local or remote operation can not take place, whilst an operator is at the scene.
After closing the switch out. The operator then inserts the manual locking key into the actuators by placing it into the same position when the manual maneuver handle would normally be placed. The key is then positioned so that the locking areas is placed in line with the lock mount.
The operator then finally adds a u-lock, which is placed though the key and mounting.
